Zoe went into hosiptal last night, orginal it was thouhgt that she had an absess on her soie, but they have detrmined that its further away from the spine ans is her lower back. So after a scary few hours it was a reflief to get that news. She is booked for surgery this monring and then she'll be off school for 3 week ! mmmm I'm sure Ican find lots for her to do.
I got photos tonight from Marion and they are so cute I had to share at least one of them with you. This is Maddie, Marion's lovely wee girl who is so loved ! This photo was titled me and my sister, arent they cute. I've been so busy with the new babies Renea is a fantasic mum, Zoe had a good day out yesterday. She and Phoenix had their first outing as a team at local club level and won Best of Group, and they looked great together, 3rd in the CH class with Flag and won the handlers class as well. We took Tori & Trio for the ride, and they had their 2nd lead training during the lunch break which they both thought was lots of fun! It was so exciting to have Renea confirmed I whelp by Ultra sound scan on Wednesday. We could see at least 5 babies ! Sheryl and I made a right pair when we saw the babies on screen, its been such a long road to get here. Well the puppies are now 8 weeks old and the first one has just flown of to its new home. Such an exciting time for the new families who have been patiently waiting for these puppies since before birth. With only 1 show dog and baby puppies we'll be staying home until at least Christmas to re build our team Thanks to all the people who have enquired about Phoenix, I'm please to report that it is not the dread "Big C" and he is on the mend, so we'll see his 'spark' return and have him back out showing in the summer. Gosh times flies when you sit around all day watching puppies at play. At 5 weeks of age they are such fun! While something is up with Phoenix and he just didnt have his usal spark in he still managed to win Best of Breed and Intermediate of Group at a cold wet Nelson Show. Phoenix did me proud over the weekend, and performed like a real showman, at Nelson Club Show. RESERVE BEST ON SHOW and Intermediate in Show at Show 1 judged by Shirley Maguigan AND THEN BEST IN SHOW and Interrmediate in Show at Show 2 judged by Janice Saltiel We're taking a much deserved break from Champ shows over the winter but will be out and about at Local Club and Open shows. |
