Being the only boy in the litter, Solly just had to be named in honour of his father and first love. Taking a little longer than the girls, it will be interesting to watch this young man and see if he grows into the promise he is currently showing.
Solly is a lovely young man with a beautiful head, following in his father's footsteps with a big aand true free moving stride, he has the attitude of a showman !
Sheryl and I look foward to watching Solly grow over the next few years. And are please with his debut performance, and winning his class both days againist older competiton was a bonus.
Solly is so spolit with 2 homes who love him to bits. He lives wth Sheryl who undertakes his training, and will show him locally. However I get to show him at CH show level as Sheryl doesn't travel, so we get the best of both worlds. Sheyl is no newbie to the wrold of show dogs, having breed German Sheperds for the NZ Police Force for many years she also dabbled in a bit of showing on the side. So while she has a few new things to learn in regard to stacking cockers vs GSD's, she found her feet very quickly at her debut in Nov 2011. Sheryl and Solly make a great team and have such a strong bond, I'm hoping that I can do her justice when I show him.
