Pedigree
Henry is a masculine "teenage" handful that's impressing us more and more as he matures. Standing at almost 16" he is a good sized dog with lots of body and bone. Henry is superb on the move with strong reach and drive coming from his short hock and loin, with correct follow through movement. And after taking time out of the ring to mature over the 2010-2011 show seaon and re-growing his coat, he's looking great!.
Career Highlights:
His first notable win was at 8 months in Australia when he was awarded Reserve in Show at the Cocker Spaniel Club of Victoria Open Shows (53 cocker entries). Since then he has had 2 more RBISS at Cocker Specialty Open Shows Henry was awarded his first Australian Challenge at 8 months, and arived in Nw Zealand at 10months of age. His first show in NZ was 1 week prior to his first birthday, and he was awrded RDCC and Puppy in Show .His first NZ Challenge at 12 months and his NZ Title at 19months.

Interestingly Henry was not supposed to be my dog. Firstly it wasn't intended that he stay in NZ permanently, and secondly he was supposed to be Zoe's dog. However fate intervened and he chose me. The rest of the story is our journey learning together.
Due to an unfortunate accident in April 2011 Henry was retired just as he was coming into his prime, and passed away 3 weeks prior to his progeny being born, from which I am keeping a bitch puppy, Riley Janan Soul Sister for myself, and in parntership of a dog puppy, Solly Janan Heart N Soul with dear friend Sheryl Williams, who loved Henry almost as much as I did. Henry filled my Heart and Soul, and his litter is named in his honour, I can only hope that they bring me a fraction of the same love and joy that he did in his very short life. Riley and Solly debuted in Novemember 2011 winning both their respective class and then going head to head for Baby of Breed both days with Riley taking top honours.
I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
I think of you in silence. I often speak your name.
Now all I have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart
