Ajax debuted like a pro, he started his show career with 3 Baby Puppy of Gundog Groups from his first 4 All Breeds shows. A cobby lad with heaps of bone a huge spring of rib and short coupled, he is a well balanced honest dog who's lots of fun to show. he's very distinct due to his silver eyebrows ! and some judges just can't see past them, but we love him just as he is.
Ajax went through a "grandpa stage" where he was lazy and then at 14months everything fell into place, and all the time and effort started to pay off, and at 16mths he was ready to pass over to Zoe for handling in the show ring. Not yet 2 but he's a Best of Group, Multi BOB winner and already has 20+ DCC's and numerous RDCC's to his credit, and BOB speciality winner. He's just such a reliable dog to have as part of our team. He's a big teddy bear at home, but at the shows he stand on his trolley like he owns the place!
Zoe continued to struggle keeping up with His big show coat and her current work & Education commitments, so we made the decision to place Ajax in a pet home, and he now lives & loves a family in Wellington.
